Here are some tips that should help: First off, it is so much better to start off when your dog is a puppy. People usually think it is just so cute when their little puppy jumps up to greet them. People will reinforce this behavior by talking to them, touching them and looking at them. You pooch is getting the attention he wants. You need to stop reinforcing this behavior. Try this: Never give your puppy or dog any form of reinforcement when he jumps up on you. The same goes with anyone else that interacts with your dog. You can try the "statue" method. Stand up straight and tall like a statue and dont look at him, touch him or talk to him. Soon your dog should get the message. When he is not jumping up when you try this, reward him with "good boy!" and give him a tasty treat. Please note: There are numerous methods to train dogs not to jump up on people. Different methods work differently with different dogs. For your FREE dog training classes to solve this and other problems along with getting your dog obedience trained: Click Here
